Welcome to the Boys and Girls Club of Bay Mills - About Us The Boys & Girls Club of Bay Mills / Brimley is a local, autonomous affiliate of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, whose mission is to inspire and enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
As an affiliate of the Boys & Girls Club of America since September of 2001, the Boys & Girls Club of Bay Mills / Brimley is part of a 140 year-old "Movement" of over 4000 clubs, serving over 4 million girls and boys. Our club, as in the case with Boys & Girls Clubs in the U.S., is a completely autonomous organization with a local board of directors.
The Boys & Girls Club of Bay Mills / Brimley is for all youth who are 8 years of age or older, of all races, religions, and cultures. At the Bay Mills site, 5, 6, 7 year olds are welcome to join, as long as incoming 5, 6, 7 year olds have attended kindergarten for at least 1 month.

Core Program Areas
Boys & Girls Club provides diverse activities that meet the interest of all youth. Core Programs engage young people in activities with adults, peers and family members that enable them to develop self-esteem and to reach their full potential. Based on physical, emotional, cultural and social needs and interest of boys and girls, and recognizing developing principals, clubs offer program activities in five areas - Character and Leadership Development

| Our HistoryThe Boys & Girls Club of Bay Mills received its official charter from the Boys & Girls Club of America on September 23, 2002. They opened with about 30 members and just 3 staff. Today our local Boys & Girls Club has two sites: Bay Mills and Brimley with a total of 8 staff and about 160 members. About Bay MillsKnown in Ojibwe as "Gnoozhekaaning", the Place of the Pike, our Bay Mills Indian Community is a beautiful Indian Reservation located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. It is one of the four original reservations established in Michigan. We have over 1,300 members that are registered with the Bay Mills Indian Community. Our community also has the Bay Mills Community College that is accredited tribal college and is operated by our community. Our tribe also operates the Bay Mills Resort & Casino along with the well-known Wild Bluff Golf Course.
